Welcome to St. Andrew’s Cathedral!

In October, many of us had the opportunity to view the screening of Our Last Stand, a documentary produced by InAltum Productions, which helped to make us aware of the genocide of Christians & Yazidis in Iraq and Syria.  The United States Congress (John Kerry) and European Parliament in 2016 acknowledged that these genocides were and are occurring and spoke strongly against them.   Sadly, Canada has yet to take such a stand on this important issue, but that can change with your help!

Click here to view a draft letter which you may personalize, sign and send to your specific Member of Parliament ( https://www.ourcommons.ca/Parliamentarians/en/members ) asking for their support and action.  Mail may be sent postage-free to any Member of Parliament.

Whether you’re just visiting us for a brief time, looking for a new parish home, are returning to the practice of your Catholic faith or are interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church, we’re happy to have you here.

A parish is a community of believers and a spiritual family that is supportive and loving. It can be a place to grow spiritually, to put your faith in action, and to use our gifts of time and talent as disciples of Christ.  Explore our pages under Ministries and Education for opportunities to use your gifts, expand your prayer life or learn more about our faith.

We look forward to seeing you!

St. Andrew’s Cathedral is very thankful to the City of Victoria for granting us a three-year permissive tax exemption (2017-2019). This exemption will allow us to fund many programs for our community and support outreach to those in need.
