Ushers and Greeters PDF Print E-mail

Next to the priest and music ministry, ushers have one of the most valuable and important tasks to perform in the worship service. It is up to the ushers to keep order, to help create a spirit of worship, reverence, and friendliness in and about the church. The ushers are the representatives of the church to the people who come to worship there. Visitors receive their first impression of the church from the ushers. Ushering is a great privilege and a sacred duty and we are in need of additional volunteers for this important Ministry.

If you would like to volunteer, even if it is only once per month, please contact Rita at the parish office at 250-388-5571 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere.

I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Psalm 84:10
