Baptism

"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: 'Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.'"
Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 1213

Are you searching for a Church to call your own? Do you have questions about what Catholics believe regarding life, death, suffering, hope, forgiveness, love, and God? Are you wondering how to become baptized as an adult in the Catholic Church?
The Catholic Church welcomes adults seeking baptism through a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA guides those who are not yet baptized in understanding the Catholic faith, experiencing conversion, and preparing for full communion with the Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. This journey includes both learning and spiritual formation as you discern God's call to live as a Catholic Christian.
If you are interested in learning more about adult baptism or beginning this faith journey, please email the parish office to find out how to get started.
