Confirmation for Children under 18: Religious Education
Year 1 Sacramental Preparation:
We warmly invite children who are ready to begin their journey of faith through the sacraments of Confession, Confirmation, and Eucharist to join us for Year 1 of Sacramental Preparation. If your child is in school and has not yet been baptized, this is the perfect class for them to start their sacramental journey. This is a two-year program, and we encourage families with children attending Catholic schools to register as well.
Families will receive ongoing communication throughout the program, which begins in September. After completing the first year, your child will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession); this is a joyful event. If Baptism is needed, we will guide you through the special steps involved, ensuring a meaningful and spiritually enriching experience for your family.
Year 2 Sacramental Preparation:
We are excited to invite parents to register their children for Year 2 of Sacramental Preparation, following the successful completion of Year 1. This year is a special time as children will prepare to celebrate both First Communion and Confirmation, deepening their relationship with Christ and the Church. We look forward to journeying with your family as your child takes these important steps in their faith.
